Overview
The product line HarmoniXX is a series of frequency converters for ultrafast lasers, in particular for Ti:Sapphire lasers, but available for other wavelength ranges as well.
The flexible architecture of these devices allows for Second Harmonic Generation (SHG), Third Harmonic Generation (THG), and Fourth Harmonic Generation (FHG) as needed. Also, a version generating the difference frequency (DFG) from two input wavelengths is available.
The HarmoniXX DFG unit is designed to convert the output of a synchronously pumped OPO into the Mid IR range by mixing Signal and Idler output beams. The DFG output wavelength can be changed easily when tuning the OPO Signal. It covers a wide wavelength range of 4 … > 15 µm.
The HarmoniXX DFG unit consists of the beam overlap module, matching the particular OPO, the frequency mixing stage, and the wavelength separation. The output is very stable benefitting from the fact that the OPO output pulses are intrinsically jitter-free. The DFG is available for femtosecond and picosecond OPOs.
